Trustpoint.One has partnered with our client, a Metro Detroit firm, on their need for an experienced Legal Assistant.  The right candidate for this role would possess a strong law office background, preferably within litigation.  This a permanent/direct hire opportunity offering a competitive compensation package and benefits, with responsibilities that will include -  preparation of litigation related documents, preparing discovery packages,  acting a liaison to clients, drafting correspondence to opposing counsel and clients,  calendaring, and additional responsibilities (as assigned). Qualifications:
  • 2 years' experience within in a law office, providing support to multiple attorneys
  • E-filing expertise is a must
  • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite
  • Knowledge of State and Federal Court rules
