Tsali Care Center in Cherokee, NC is recruiting a Full-Time Registered Nurse Manager with experience as a leader in long-term care.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Assist the Director of Nursing in assessing resident care needs and implementing appropriate action through nursing policies and procedures.
- Supervise staffing for the nursing department; directs, evaluates, and supervises all resident care provided, and initiates corrective action.
- Performs all RN duties and RN on-call as needed
- Mandatory Attendance for all in-service and education programs as scheduled
Management & Training:
- Management of the day-to-day nursing operations of the skilled nursing facility including organizing, planning and evaluating the department and quality of nursing services provided. Works closely with CIHA and EBCI staff as needed.
- Assists with planning and facilitating training and development and quality of nursing services provided. Communicates policies and goals to ensure compliance with policies, procedures and bylaws.
- Participates in the production of setting performance standards for staff in collaboration with Director of Nursing. Sets goals and objectives to ensure exceptional customer service.
- Serves as resource to personnel as well as acting as a patient advocate by resolving concerns and incidents related to appropriate nursing related behavior and care.
Education & Experience:
- Active unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in NC or Active unrestricted RN license compact state
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred
- Supervisory experience in a clinical setting especially long-term care is preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is Required
- Valid Driver’s License is Required
