What are the responsibilities and job description for the MT Operations Associate (Production) position at TSMC?
Position Overview:
Work in an office-based cubicle environment, multitasking with web tracking systems to monitor the semiconductor manufacturing of wafers.
- Learn and become familiar with manufacturing/engineering process and stay informed of any changes in procedures.
- Monitor different integrated systems to ensure the automated tools are running properly.
- Conduct wafer inspections and/or assisting in handling of abnormal events that occur in production.
- Assist in executing experimental plans and in subsequent data collection and analysis.
- Follow Monitoring System to complete tool monitoring to return tool to production.
- Work with supporting module on actions to bring the process back to baseline.
- Perform limited manual dispatching in urgent cases.
- Assist in creating training or SOP documents.
- Train new members to the team once skill level reach a certain level in the team.
- Able to handle time sensitive material in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ability to perform various tasks in a disciplined manner in accordance with SOPs (Standard Operation Procedure), and report problems to supervisors.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
- High school Diploma or GED required.
- Experience working in desktop or cubicle office setting, sitting for long time periods.
- Fundamental Microsoft Excel and computer skills.
- Production work shifts are on 12-hour shifts on day shifts or night shifts, 3-4 days per week.
- Able to wear clean room suit while standing and/or walking for a 12-hour shift in the FAB as needed.
- Have the ability to lift/carry up to 20 pounds wafer pod with or without a reasonable accommodation (Cleanroom role).
- Attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
