Our client's Data Engineering team is looking for an experienced, motivated, and self-driven business analyst to join our team. Our team is responsible for delivering programs associated with reducing data risk through the use of technology. In this role, you will support project management of complex data issues (concerns/demands) through the partnering with technology and finance resources to performing root cause analysis of issues, design tactical and strategic solutions and support the remediation activities of the agreed solution. The ideal candidate is very comfortable working with technology teams to understand issues, familiar with financial systems/terminology, driving remediation activities and communicating progress to program management teams and senior leaders. Responsibilities:
Become familiar with various data sets associated to the Data Concern / Demand population, reporting adjustments, and regulatory plans.
Support remediation progress, drive progress across multiple teams, and leverage PowerPoint to communicate progress and achievements.
Identify potential risks and issues across program and properly escalate to senior leaders to reduce impacts.
Work with remediation owners to help classify open items to support prioritizing work.
Own management of day-to-day progress across program priorities and execution of weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly reporting for senior leaders.
Required Skills:
Proficient in PowerPoint.
Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and exception communication skills.
Experience in managing projects across multiple teams across the organization.
Ability to organize teams, drive prioritization and remediation plans, identify and escalate issues/risks to senior leaders, and communicate key achievements through reporting.
Expert in working with senior stakeholders to understand requirements and changes impacting the book of work to deliver on key timelines set by regulators and senior leader.
Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative, and adaptive, able to navigate a complex organization.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of seniority.
Education:
Bachelor's degree.
