Production Programs is seeking a Military Program Manager. This person will be a developing leader that will possess the technical, organizational, and managerial skills needed to lead and coordinate with the customer and translate their work requirements to internal teams. The successful candidate will have a general knowledge of Maintenix or similar software, its integrations, and customer IT landscapes. They will be responsible for program wide oversight of cost, quality, schedule, and developing key relationships with potential business leads. They will need to be knowledgeable and have the ability to provide cross functional leadership in the areas of information security and Export control. Familiarity with principles of OPSEC would be a plus.
NOTE: This position requires access to technologies and hardware subject to US national Security based export control requirements. All applicants must be US Persons (8 USC 1324b(a)(3)), or otherwise authorized by the U.S. Government. NO Company Sponsorship offered.
This person must be able to communicate priorities internally, track status of work performance across multiple projects within their program and identify opportunities for improvement. Excellent communication skills are required, and the ability and the strong desire to lead the organization in a challenging business and customer environment are essential.
Responsibilities:
• With and through your staff, manage multiple activities across projects within current and potential future Military Programs
• Works with the Development, Support, IT, Management and Executive Teams to drive continuous improvement
• Responsible for ensuring that the accurate and concise conveyance of customer requirements to the development team for new projects or tasks occurs
• Focus on expectation management, delegation, and acquisition of performance metrics from the IPT
• Program wide oversight of cost, quality, and schedule
• Ability to lead in matters of Information Security and Export control
• Lead by example: Internal meetings, external customer meetings, and direct follow up on Action Items as required to ensure timely resolution
• Develop key customer relationships for additional business opportunities
• Strong desire to lead the organization in a challenging business and customer environment
• Other duties as needed or required
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Demonstrated excellence with Program / Project Management in Aerospace or IT
• Demonstrated excellence with direct customer interaction
• Demonstrated excellence with multi-program issue follow up and management interaction
• Familiarity with TT internal systems and procedures
• Ability to obtain access to the P&W network
• Travel to customer or partner sites if required
