Assistant Surveyor

Description:

 As a Surveyor with TTE, you will perform surveying functions in a safe and effective manner to ensure timely completion of our mass excavation, utility, paving, and concrete projects. We are looking for a long-term candidate who value the opportunity for future advancement that our company offers.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist surveying and layout on civil projects.
• Follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Communicate with the team on the jobsite.
• Cooperate with others in a team environment.
• Work in inclement weather; Lift, push, pull in excess of 50 lbs.; Exposure to loud noise, dust and toxic materials; Work in confined spaces.

Qualifications and Skills:

•  Minimum 2 years of experience as a surveyor on civil projects required.
• A team player who works well with others
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and creativity required.
• Must be self-motivated, calm under pressure, and consistently able to meet deadlines.
• Travel will be required throughout, but not limited to, greater middle Tennessee.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

TTE operates in a 65-mile radius from Nashville, Tennessee. By applying for this position, you acknowledge our operation radius and understand your commute could reach up to one (1) hour. Teammates are asked to move job sites as project needs change and occasionally report to the TTE Office for training.
