Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing lesson plans and instructing adults in various ESL courses
  • Monitoring adult student performance
  • Advising adult students on progress
  • Administering final project presentations, written and oral exams
  • Taking adult student attendance
  • Grading adult student exams
  • Professionally follow the education indexes instructed by the Bureau of Proprietary School Supervision (BPSS)
  • Other duties as directed.
  • Being able to attend career development meetings a plus

Requirements:

  • BA in Education, Communication or TESOL certificate or a related field
  • 1 year experience teaching ESL to adults in a classroom setting,

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per year

  • Night shift
  • Weekends as needed
