Scope:
Responsible for the execution of the master production schedule - assure components are on order, through inspection for raw material & through manufacturing for sub-assemblies, and on hand so that manufacturing orders start on time. All issues that will hinder manufacturing orders starting on time - identify, communicate, solve.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Owner ship of medium complexity established product lines, programs, planner codes
- Reschedule of manufacturing orders as required - direction from the master scheduler
- Report status of planned and released orders.
- Responsible for oversight of material disposition of all RCNs.
- Participate as necessary in MRB, M0R's, and other evaluation and disposition
- Modifying manufacturing orders / routers as required
- Cycle counts of manufacturing orders
- Participate in physical inventory - throughout the year and at year end
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to lead and achieve results through others
- Thorough understanding of MRP and the planning process
- Strong computer skills, strong excel skills, basic analytics
- Formal root cause/ corrective action training
- Experience working in a lean manufacturing / continuous improvement manufacturing environment - Green Belt certification preferred.
- Ability to lead C.I. Projects.
