What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Hire- HR Manager/$100K position at TTS Manufacturing?
Major Function and Scope:
- Must perform all job duties using safe working methods.
- Holds other team members accountable for using safe work methods according to company policy and OSHA standards.
- Analyzes wage and salary reports and recommends a competitive compensation plan to align with the local manufacturing and industry (flooring0 standards.
- Creates, advises, and maintains company policy, compensation structure and employee benefits.
- Develops and maintains reports on KPI’s required by management team and top executives
- Ensures company policies and procedures comply with local and state law; Recommends changes as necessary to maintain compliance now and in the future
- Implement, improve and maintenance of Workforce management software.
- Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting comply with local law. Studies legislation, arbitration decisions, and collective bargaining contracts to assess industry trends
- Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions in collaboration with management and immediate supervisors.
- Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.
- Lean improvement mid-set (Toyota/Lean) for operations and administrative processes.
- Strong respect for people and continuous improvement.
- Problem solving and team building tools.
- Develops training programs for hourly and salary employees to ensure compliance with any state or local regulations
- Keeps and maintains all employee records including Job position, promotions, terminations, transfers, and performance reviews
- Ensure and promote good employee relationships by being available for questions and concerns; Recommends improvements to management team based on employee feedback
- Actively finds creative ways to improve employee turn-over, reduce absenteeism and improve employee morale
- Creation, improvements and ensure completion of employee orientation and on-boarding.
- Working knowledge of employment laws (EEO, AA, FMLA, ADA, unemployment, and worker's compensation)
- Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resource functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting comply.

Knowledge, Experience, and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing
- Must be able to read, write and communicate using English language.
- Be bilingual, fluent in English
- Able to create policy and procedures without utilizing or relying on any previous work for assistance
- Ability to multi-task required.
- Must be self-motivated

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
