Customer service technician

TTT Environmental (an Alaska based Technical Environmental and Safety house) has an opening for a Customer service / Instrument Service Technician position, in our Fairbanks office, who is self motivated and works hard, efficiently, and accurately.

This position is fast pasted, has lots of variety, and customer contact via retail setting, phone, and e-mail communication.

Candidate must have excellent attention to detail, be good at multi-tasking, be adaptable & flexible to changing priorities from customers, self-motivated, the ability to foster long term relationships with our customers and co-workers, well organized, able to understand technical products and applications, bright, hardworking, energetic, professional, dependable and good with people.

If capable this position may also provide instrument service, calibration, and rental preparation for incoming and outgoing rental equipment, etc on various handheld environmental and safety instruments in regards to rentals, sales, and service.

Ideal candidate would have field experience in the operation and application of water quality, environmental, and safety instrumentation as well as familiarization with general field supplies, customer service / sales experience, be a fast learner, and able to keep work area picked up and clean at all times.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATION :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must have a current and valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• Possess adequate typing skills
• Excellent customer service mindset
• 1 year of related experience preferred
• Must have a strong operational knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
• Preferably two - four years of technical experience with environmental and / or safety equipment operation and application.
• Customer Service and / or Sales experience is a plus
• Instrument service experience is desired
