Conestoga Sports Instructors - Fall
Conestoga Recreation and Aquatic Center is now hiring Sports Instructors for preschool, youth, and adult programming! We are seeking community and safety oriented individuals with a desire to share their passion for recreation with a wide range of age groups and people. We seek team members who can support the needs of individuals as well as manage group dynamics.Instructors keep our patrons safe: physically, by gauging and adjusting programming to meet each patron’s ability and skill level; mentally, by encouraging and building a positive community with our patrons; and maintain safe environments for all.
Hours: Staff are typically scheduled from 2 to 29 hours per week; between 9 am - 8pm Monday-Sunday. Part-time employees are scheduled variable hours and may work less than 1,560 hours per year.
Conestoga Recreation and Aquatic Center is seeking instructors for the following district programming:
- Basketball
- Preschool Level Sports Introduction
- Soccer
- Pickleball
- Football
- Tennis
Instructor I: No teaching experience required, must love working with people of all ages and abilities; able to work inside and outside; and be at least 16 years of age. Pay range: $16.89 - $17.92 hourly
Instructor II: Must have at least 1-year of experience in leading and instructing general classes and be at least 16 years of age. Pay range: $18.41 - $20.74 hourly, depending on experience.
Instructor III: Must have over 1-year of experience and specialized training in the assigned program area, and be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license. Pay range: $20.31 - $22.87 hourly, depending on experience.
