Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement Security Policies:

Formulate and implement robust information security policies, procedures, and best practices.
Security Assessments and Vulnerability Management:
Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate potential risks.

Collaboration and Compliance:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry security standards and regulations.
Assist in leading PCI assessments and re-certification processes.
Incident Response and Root Cause Analysis:
Respond to security incidents, conduct thorough root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.

Stay Informed on Security Trends:

Code Reviews and AppSec Integration:

Participate in code reviews to identify security vulnerabilities and work collaboratively with development teams to remediate them.
Stay current with emerging AppSec threats and technologies, integrating security solutions into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Secure Software Design:

Play a pivotal role in the design and architecture of secure software solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in information security.
Proficiency in security assessment tools and techniques.
In-depth knowledge of industry security standards and regulations.
Experience with PCI assessments and re-certification processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Continuous learning mindset and ability to adapt to emerging security threats and technologies.
