Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Meat Cutter to join our team. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and packaging meat products according to customer specifications. Your attention to detail and knowledge of food safety regulations will ensure that our customers receive high-quality products.
Responsibilities:
- Cut, trim, and portion meat products according to customer specifications
- Package and label meat products for display and sale
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling of meat products
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production and meet customer demands
- Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or discrepancies
Experience:
- Previous experience in food production, meat cutting, or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices
- Familiarity with food industry regulations and standards
- Ability to use knives, saws, and other meat cutting equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measuring and portioning meat products
- Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines
