To ensure plant assets operate in a safe and reliable manner, and to ensure product safety and quality through effective and efficient corrective and preventive maintenance practices.
Essential Duties:
• Work in accordance with all safety regulations and safe job procedures (SJPs), standard work processes, global food safety initiative (GFSI), good manufacturing practices (GMPs), and product quality requirements at all times.
• At all times, actively engage in and live out Tuffy’s Treat Company values and guiding principles. Be a team member, treat each other with respect and a good steward of company resources.
• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on various types of equipment including but not limited to: facility and utility systems, manufacturing equipment, tanks, vessels, piping, silos, process controls, waste treatment, packaging machines and mobile equipment.
• Participate in and or facilitate failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement (CI) activities to ensure the highest levels of asset and process reliability, availability and quality.
• Perform various testing (ultrasonic, vibration, thermography, etc.) and recording of data on rotating, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic control devices, safety systems, piping, vessels and other associated equipment and systems.
• Maintain spare part and shop inventory through consistent and effective use of the maintenance, repair and operating supplies (MRO) process and system.
• Consistently and effectively utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure asset performance and work history is accurately captured.
• Assist production with line-setups, product change overs and autonomous maintenance activities.
• Actively support equipment effectiveness (TPM), workplace organization (6S) and GMPs.
• Accomplish other duties as assigned.
You may have to train on 1st shift Monday - Friday (7 am to 3 pm)
Salary : $22 - $30
