Tuknik Government Services, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Mail Print Ops to support TGS and our government customer in Baltimore, MD. This is a Hybrid opportunity that requires 2 days onsite.

Headquarters client operations in Baltimore, Maryland, and is responsible for printing and inserting Social Security Number (SSN) cards and Public Notices annually. The mission of the DESPOB is to mail SSN cards and Notices to the public within established service level agreement requirements. Additionally, client ops are responsible for supporting a wide range of operational, logistical, and contractual tasks necessary to ensure the highest level of quality and timely service.
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • The role is responsible for creating and editing a variety of technical and non-technical documents to include, but not limited to, user guides, training material, operational procedures, reference manuals, research papers, and website content.
  • Responsible for providing management reports that assist senior management and stakeholders in making informed business decisions.
  • Conduct real-time/continuous tracking, consolidation, and dissemination of information critical to operations.
  • Create and update graphic presentation materials.
  • Work with subject matter experts to document, develop, design, verify, and establish management support SharePoint sites.
  • Attend the Morning Briefing, scheduled daily, to report on the morning status of print mail operations.
  • Attending meetings as assigned by the Task Manager, Alt. Task Manager, or designee.
  • Compile notes taken during critical discussions and project meetings.
  • Be responsible for gathering all relevant data, compiling it accurately, and generating comprehensive reports that highlight key metrics and performance indicators. These reports and documents will aid in tracking the progress of print mail operations, identifying areas for improvement, and making informed decisions. regularly review and update reports to reflect any changes or enhancements to the print mail process.
  • Document, itemize, and continuously document all activities and steps inherent in carrying out, executing, and completing print and mail operations. work with staff in the compilation of information and production of daily operations executive reports.
  • Create and manage ongoing reports and documents to support print mail operations activities.
  • Prepare, format, and present management reports that highlight key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to the production and mailing of materials.
  • Coordinate with staff to compile information and produce a daily PMF SSN Card Statistics Report for Budget Finance and Management staff.
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments and stakeholders to collect the necessary information and data for reports and documents, assuring that management reports are relevant for decision making and meet their requirements in collaboration with other departments and stakeholders. also track and summarize mission critical communications between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with staff to compile a mission critical supply list and keep track of supplies list and produce a daily report.
  • Coordinate with staff to compile information and produce a weekly “Plan of the Week” summary report of mission critical communications, equipment, and project status information shared between the ops and its critical stakeholders.
  • Transcribe, compile, and disseminate notes taken during project status meetings.
  • Prepare written deliverables or work products using the Microsoft Office product suitable for the task, save written deliverable/work products to the share drive, and/or upload items to SharePoint or similar client method of publication. Use client’s project planning software application when preparing project plans.
  • Compose daily SSN Card Statistics Report for Budget Finance and Management staff.
  • Compose daily end-of-day operational executive report. (Note: Staff routinely work extra time at the end of the day to produce this report).
  • Submit weekly status report via email. The report shall document the type of task performed during the reporting period, issues or problems identified or resolved, and a brief description or list of pending actions.
Education, Experience and Skills:
  • Qualifications include a bachelor's degree, at least five years of relevant experience.
  • Experienced and skilled at providing technical support.
  • Experienced and skilled in documentation and technical writing.
  • Experience reporting information to management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, communication skills, multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency in relevant software and equipment.
  • Experience using software products used to gather management information (MI) data reporting.
  • At least 5 years’ experience using Microsoft Windows.
  • At least 5 years’ experience with Microsoft Office products including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity preferred with USPS regulations such as seamless acceptance, NCOA-CASS service, barcode requirements, understanding postage statements, qualification reports etc.
  • Client using Ricoh Process Director workflow reporting software.
  • Full time support is required for this task and consists of an eight- and one-half hour workday (half hour meal break included) within the core hours of operation: 6[GJC1] :00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Initially, all work will be performed at the Perimeter East Building (PEB) in Woodlawn, Maryland.
  • The COR and Task Manager may approve telework days in accordance with SSA’s telework procedures, including any updated telework procedures related to pandemics, emergencies, and catastrophic situations. comply and follow SSA’s telework procedures.
  • Under this subtask, personnel are non-essential personnel and are not required to report for duty during periods of inclement weather and other emergencies unless otherwise advised by COR.
  • Personnel assigned to this subtask will not be required to report for duty during periods of inclement weather and other emergencies; they will be asked to report to an alternative work location. If personnel are required to report for duty, the COR, or an assigned alternate, will personally notify the program manager, or an assigned alternate.
Working Environment & Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
