DEPARTMENT: Tribal Court-Probation
JOB SUMMARY: Will plan coordinate, and evaluate operations of the Tulalip Probation Office’s Reentry Program and services relative to reintegration into the community, serving as a case manager were appropriate. Acts as a liaison between re-entry team members, clients, probation staff, treatment organizations, and other departments to eliminate obstacles to re-entry and recovery. Provides administrative assistance to the Probation Services Manager. Provides connections to resources through housing assistance, transportation assistance, food and clothing vouchers, treatment services, and cultural events.
COMPENSATION: $30.23 hr.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, or related field. * Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirements on a year-for-year basis.
MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE
- Four (4) years of experience in social work, law, sociology, criminal justice, psychology, or related field.
- Four (4) years of experience working with vulnerable populations, especially those incarcerated or formerly incarcerated.
- Two (2) years of working experience in an office environment.
- Two (2) years of computer experience utilizing Microsoft Office programs.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES
- WA State Driver's License
- Must adhere to the Motor Vehicle Regulations (Abstract required)
- Must not be on probation or in any court programs related to criminal case(s).
- No criminal conviction(s) within five (5) years.
- No pending alcohol and/or drug related criminal cases.
- Must have never been convicted of any felony crimes.
- Must obtain professional visitor clearance to enter correctional facilities such as Snohomish County Jail
- Must adhere to The Tulalip Tribal Court Ethics- Code of Conduct Court Employees Policy.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a grant funded contracted position.
