The Assistant Director of Athletics Ticket Operations assists with the daily operations of the ticket office. This position works under the direction of the Director of Athletics Ticket Operations. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Ability to demonstrate uncompromised judgment and discretion with regard to interpersonal relationships
NCAA Related:
Ensures that all Department of Athletics and University related activities operate in full compliance with university, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations. Attends and participates in scheduled compliance seminars and complies with all the Athletic Department’s efforts to monitor compliance with NCAA regulations. Seeks interpretations from the compliance staff before acting when necessary. Reports potential rules violations immediately. Completes required compliance paperwork in a timely and efficient manner. Monitors all of their areas and/or programs activities closely to maintain compliance with applicable rules and regulations. Required Education and/or Experience • Bachelor’s Degree
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and use upmost discretion when privy to sensitive information
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Great decision-making skills, solid judgment, and interpersonal effectiveness
- Ability to interact effectively with customers, coaches, administrators, student athletes and coworkers.
- Strong organizational, management and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to multi-task effectively.
- Ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines.
- Proficient computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and social media.
- Availability to work flexible work schedule including nights and weekends.
- Travel with sport teams for away contests.
- Thorough knowledge of NCAA and American Athletic Conference rules and regulations.

- 1 year of ticket operations experience (includes experience with a computerized ticket system)
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience with Paciolan Ticketing Software
