The Department of Sociology at Tulane University invites applications for one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position for academic year 2022-2023, beginning in August, 2022. The teaching load is 3-3. Ability to teach one or more of the following is preferred: Foundations in Sociology (our introductory course for declared majors), Soc of Families, Gender & Society, Soc of Race and Ethnicity, and/or Social Problems. Candidates who have completed a Ph.D. in Sociology at the time of application will be given preference.
