Server/Waiter

If you have a passion for food, hospitality, and making people smile, we want to hear from you. **Responsibilities:** - Greet and welcome guests, taking care of their needs and ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable. - Take food and drink orders, communicate with the kitchen staff, and manage table assignments. - Manage cash and credit transactions accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and operating the point-of-sale system. - Provide guests with accurate and timely information about our menu items, ingredients, and nutritional information. - Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors. - Upsell menu items and recommend specials to enhance the dining experience. - Handle guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety and handling standards. - Work effectively with other team members to ensure seamless service. - Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with menu updates and service standards. **Experience:** - Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential. - Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer service. - Knowledge of food safety and handling practices is necessary. - Basic math skills are required for managing cash and credit transactions. - Experience with Aloha POS is a plus. - Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. - Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. **Skills:** - Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest relations. - Excellent food handling and food safety practices. - Basic math skills for managing cash and credit transactions. - Proficiency with cash register and cash handling. - Experience working in a restaurant environment. - Ability to upsell and recommend menu items. - Familiarity with Aloha POS systems. - Ability to work effectively in a team environment. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
