Job Posting for Production Control Expeditor for Aerospace at Turbine Controls
Position: Production Control Expeditor
Summary: Overall responsibility of knowing where components and parts are physically located within three facilities (all within walking distance of each other). This position reports directly to the Manager of Operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Transporting parts between buildings 1, 2 and 3 and the company warehouse.
Responsible for issuing parts or components to the production floor
Make independent decisions as to where parts should go once the “shop flow” is understood
Creating routers and associated paperwork regarding vendors
Communicate with the Purchasing Department to ensure that vendors help ship parts on time
Communicate with the Engineering Department regarding router issues
Possible delivery and pick up of parts from vendors/customers.
Qualifications:
Individual must have a minimum of a high school degree or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and favorable verifiable driving record through DMV, experience in shipping and receiving and operating forklift a plus.
Knowledge of routers, travelers, FAA 8130 airworthiness acceptance criteria and other forms of related paperwork strongly preferred
Able to quickly adapt and change gears as production priorities change throughout the day
Must be computer savvy and comfortable using technology such as Microsoft Office and email
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail is a requirement
