Turbo Holdings Inc. is a company with a history of developing brands and investing in and managing properties. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining our financial health and ensuring the smooth operation of our property management functions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Tenant Lease Management:
- Have a keen understanding of tenant leases.
- Contact tenants to collect rent and manage related communications.
2. Financial Ledger Maintenance:
- Maintain accurate and detailed financial ledgers of rent payments.
- Ensure all transactions are properly categorized in our accounting software.
3. Corporate Documentation:
- Handle, organize, and maintain corporate documents with utmost confidentiality and accuracy.
4. Budget Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation and management of budget forecasts.
5. Vendor Payments:
- Pay vendors on time and manage accounts payable efficiently.
6. Financial Reporting:
- Create detailed financial reports using our software tools to support management decisions.
7. General Bookkeeping Tasks:
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure financial accuracy.
- Process payroll and manage employee expense reports.
- Track and manage inventory records.
- Prepare and file tax returns and compliance reports.
- Assist with audits and provide information as required.
- Monitor and manage cash flow.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Strong understanding of tenant lease agreements and property management.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the real estate industry.
- Experience in the ecommerce industry.
- Familiarity with budget forecasting and financial reporting.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
