1. Track and maintain development budgets for project around $600m for high tech confidential client, including tracking committed costs, spend to date and processing amendments to existing POs and Task orders;
2. Analyze and report weekly cost and schedule trends in order to forecast financial risks and time delays and suggesting preemptive measures for mitigating such risks;
3. Prepare monthly project controls reports and monthly construction progress documentation presentations to the client and provide an update on cash flow and procurement to date;
4. Liaise with contractors and designers to determine cost and schedule impacts and to make sure the changes are consistent with the clients design intent;
5. Review, process, track and report on vendor and consultant invoices and payment applications to make sure all documentation is in line with the contract and work performed on site.
6. Review and negotiate contracts to ensure the project is under budget and report on cost savings;
7. Reconcile actual costs with contract pricing and provide guidelines to team;
8. Prepare cost and schedule estimates for procurement of materials, equipment, and labor;
9. Assess costs based on present market conditions and project location and use that information to negotiate with vendors and contractors;
10. Interface with other Project Delivery Team Cost Engineers, change coordinators and schedulers and perform benchmarking analysis, or identify competitive pricing options that are in line with the design intent;
11. Assess the time allotted for the construction of each project in coordination with schedule and budgetary needs;
12. Examine the general and special conditions of contracts and determine the effect that requirements have on indirect costs; identify any possible savings if the requirements are not comparable to current market conditions;
13. Suggest alternate methods of construction for each project phase in order to control costs;
14. Review very detailed drawings and specifications to ascertain an accurate perspective of the total project scope, level of design discipline, coordination, adequacy of details, project constructability and costs;
15. Regularly meet with the client, contactors and on site team to strategize and communicate critical information to other team members in a timely manner to facilitate decision making.

8. Prepare status reports and regularly monitors budgets, contractors, and schedules. Allocate project resources appropriately; approve expenditures; employee contractor contracts. Keep accurate record and electronic data base of all elements of the projects;
9. Control and report expenditures within limitations of project budget to the client and or senior staff;
10. Review contractor bids; interview and assign personnel to specific phases and elements of the project through project coordination meetings and other forms of communication, oversee and coordinate the technical aspects of the project;
11. Review project plans and proposals, then work with management to develop objectives. Identify project responsibilities by determining the phases and elements of the project. Calculate time frames and sequences the stages of the project.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience in the Related Occupation
