Due to growth and ongoing delivery success with our clients, Turner & Townsend's Project Management team in Brisbane is expanding and looking for a Project Manager to work across some of QLD's most iconic and complex projects to date. The sectos you will work across include health, education, local/state goverment and commercial. 

As a Project Manager with Turner & Townsend you must be capable of autonomously managing projects, have a commercial focus and balance working across multiple projects.  The successful applicant will be working closely with and supported by our highly experienced senior management team.

Job Description

• Collaboratively supporting larger multi-disciplinary teams in managing complex projects and programs
• Developing working relationships, problem solving and driving projects to successful completion
• Managing the design process to achieve the client's requirements and manage expectations
• Responsible for preparation of project management plans, programs, budgets and other key project deliverables
• Reviewing project plans and specifications, scheduling, costs saving measures, discrepancies, potential construction problems, etc.
• Managing project timelines, risks and reporting 
• Managing project budgets and advising on options to keep budget on track
• Chairing project meetings with clients and consultants
• Managing internal project administration including invoicing, variations, subconsultant management and contract risk
• Building the business through engagement, marketing and tendering activities

Qualifications

• A recognised Degree qualification relating to a technical field is preferred: Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or Architecture. 
• 3-5 years industry experience, working across large scale projects and programme's
• Ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment.
• Advanced Microsoft skills are essential and MS Project/Primavera skills will be highly regarded
• Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills.
• Highly collaborative, committed and proactive project team leader.
• Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering high quality projects
