Job description

Principle Responsibilities
  • Training & developing housekeeping staff.
  • Coordinate work assignments.
  • Inspect completed work.
  • Assign cleaning assignments to housekeeping team members.
  • Assist with inventory control, supplies, & keys.
Knowledge, Skill, & Abilities
  • Attention to detail & organizational skills.
  • Strong supervisory skills, & ability to designate responsibilities.
  • Ability to work effectively with varying personality types.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, & cleaning equipment.
  • Good verbal & written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand & carry out verbal & written instructions independently.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and adjust schedule to business needs.
  • Ability to perform light physical tasks, exerting up to 60lbs of force on a frequent basis.
  • Ability to perform such tasks as grasping, lifting, reaching, crouching, walking, sitting, and carrying for long periods.
Other Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversee cleanliness of public & common areas.
  • Assisting in keeping team encouraged & motivated.
  • Perform all other duties as requested by departmental & hotel leadership.
