The Information Software Business Development Manager will be driving the APR’s business strategy to accelerate growth in the Software business, and is responsible for collaborating with the Distributor Sales and Product Specialist organization and all levels of Customers to sell and exceed annual sales growth goals for Rockwell Automation’s Information Software and adjacent partner software offerings.
This position will be the technical liaison between Rockwell Automation and the distributor, provide technical, marketing, and commercial leadership for sales growth, be responsible to supporting the commercial plan for the Software business, and take a lead role in developing a competency plan to ensure that support functions (inside/outside sales) are adequately prepared to maximize share gain for the Software businesses in their APR(s).

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Engineering –OR– equivalent combination of skills, experience or education

5 Years of experience / knowledge applying RA’s products or equivalent competitive software solutions; less for entry level

Inspire, influence, lead and communicate across a diverse team not under direct management

Regularly overcome objections

Good technical writing & presentation skills with ability to present topics to mid / large size groups of customers (external and internal)
