Tuscola Behavioral Health Systems (TBHS) has been providing services within Tuscola County since 1974. As the Community Mental Health Agency within Tuscola County, we are here to provide services to children with severe emotional disorders, adults with mental illness, substance use disorders, and intellectual/developmental disorders.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Networking, Computer Science, or other related field is preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Three years of experience in a personal computer network environment. Such experience should include the training of other staff, development of policies and procedures, and working as a member of a team.
- Must possess problem solving skills and technical expertise for the installation and maintenance of the management information system hardware and software.
- Prior experience in project management preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance is required.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for input into designing, implementing, and maintaining the computer hardware and software systems and other peripheral systems such as voice and data communication and security systems.
- Responsible for system analysis, database administration, user training, and resolving customer issues.
- Manage the day to day operations of the agency’s technology environment including, but not limited to: endpoint devices such as thin clients, PCs, laptops, tablets, printers, and agency issued mobile devices; maintenance of Outlook, Out and About, etc.; and assists in designing and optimizing databases, including SQL data, data downloads, and maintenance of data system report functionality.
- Performs daily troubleshooting of problems as they arise; provides assistance and technical support to end-users.
- Acts as the TBHS liaison and works collaboratively with the information technology contractor.
- Serves as the TBHS representative on MSHN IT related workgroups and committees. Responsible for the coordination of CareConnect 360, including serving as the liaison with MSHN.
- Communicates regularly with the Compliance Officer/HIPAA Privacy Officer.
- Serves as the TBHS Security Officer. Assists the Health Information Specialist with the completion of Risk Assessment investigations based on suspected PHI breaches involving information technology.
- Demonstrates knowledge of and actively supports culturally competent, recovery based practices.
- This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
