Description:
As a Construction Recruiter at Perini Management Services Inc., you will have the opportunity to
- Support role to Management to acquire talent in the construction industry for domestic and international projects.
- Experience and ability to recruit construction personnel, inclusive of field and home office positions.
- Experience in recruitment resourcing using social media and networking to acquire talent as needed for our construction operations.
- Draft job descriptions, with management input, and assist in job postings.
- Screen applicants and select candidates for management review.
- Schedule interviews with preparation of position requirements.
- Create a database of candidates for future positions.
- Work with Human Resources in the onboarding process of new employees.
- Ability to recruit recent college graduates for entry level positions.
- Travel locally and regionally to preform duties (occasionally).
- Coordinate and participate in hiring events.
- Negotiating compensation packages, making job offers, and gaining offer acceptance.
- Additional duties to include various tracking of U.S. and multi-national labor resources.
- Knowledge of Department of Labor guidelines.
- Manages relationships with external staffing vendors and partners with agencies to identify candidates.
- Responsible for continuous improvement in the areas of Candidate Experience, recruiting best practices and compliance, ensuring all AAP/EEO/DOL and OFCCP rules and regulations are followed.
- Coordinate reporting functions to various Government agencies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or relevant field.
- Experience working with Federal Government Agencies.
- 4 or more years of experience recruiting professionals in Construction and Engineering, inclusive of screening and interviewing.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong time management, organization, and multi-tasking abilities.
