THE POSITION
Our roster has an opening with your name on it
TV Associate Director for live sports television network. Perform a variety of tasks related to live 1-hour TV show. Provides technical expertise during pre-production, production and the completion of the live programming
THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play
- Assists director with live production through coordination of video, audio and graphics elements
- Oversees elements for quality control
- Coordinate and trouble shoot with TOC to check in remote guests
- Works with producers to execute details of effective programs
- Provides leadership that encourages excellence and assists in the smooth operation of the organization
- Acts as liaison between producers, clients and technical crew to facilitate the TV production process
- Sets up and operates different types of television/video cameras and associated equipment, including studio and remote cameras, Jib crane and a multi-camera robotic system
- May perform fill-in for director when needed
- Additional duties/responsibilities as assigned
THE STATS
What we’re looking for in our next teammate
- Minimum of 5 years of broadcast control room experience at a local TV station, cable/satellite channel or other industry related environment
- Hands-on and/or working knowledge of systems/equipment used in functions identified above, including analog/digital video/High Definition video/audio signals and monitoring equipment
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
