What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Operations Manager position at TWC Management?
We are looking for an individual who loves hospitality and travel. We have hotels in Cheyenne Wyoming, Fort Morgan and Limon Colorado. The Regional Operations Manager is the liaison between each assigned hotel and the management company. He or she is the direct supervisor to the General Manager in the specified region and is required to fill this position in the event of absence. This person assists the General Manager in the day-to-day operations of the hotels to ensure that the highest quality service and product is being offered to the guest. This person is responsible for each hotel maintaining an above average score on Quality Assurance visits, ensuring that preventative maintenance and deep clean programs are being adhered to, and each property is in compliance with current brand standards, as well as in accordance with local, State, and Federal laws. He or she is required to be at each property in his or her region at least once a week. Travel between the properties is required for this position.
Job Duties:
- Oversees and is the primary contact for the General Manager at each property in the region.
- Recommends and implements revenue strategies based on historical performance, future demand, and competitor’s rates.
- Develops and updates programs for implementing preventative maintenance and deep clean practices at each property.
- Assists in recruiting and selection of property staff.
- Ensures that all online training requirements are complete at all properties.
- Reviews and edits agendas for monthly staff meetings.
- Conducts quarterly performance and annual wage reviews for General Managers.
- Assists in performance and wage reviews for department managers.
- Prepares for bi-annual quality assurance assessment by brand.
- Conducts on-site training for each department.
- Reviews property reports weekly such as Occupancy Forecast and A/R Aging.
- Coordinates and supervises on-site remodel projects.
- Assists GM’s in meeting budgets and projections.
- Helps create a sales culture at each property.
- Makes recommendations for capital expenditures at each property.
- Regularly checks guest comments on Medallia, Trip Advisor, etc. and makes adjustments as needed.
- Ensures that all staff at each property is adhering to Brand Standards including, but not limited to, training, uniform, and operation requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
