About the role

To step-change our GT business in North Asia – delivering growth in volume, revenue, profit and market share, especially in Hainan market, and making GT the global brand shop window for the Penfolds brand via implementation of world class customer marketing programmes to inspire our travellers to discover and love our brand across Hainan market (may also include airports, airlines border store channels, etc)

Inherent in this role will be the requirement to develop the sales across the GT business in North Asia focusing on Hainan market to ensure strong sales performance and drive incremental and sustainable growth and profitability of Penfolds in these markets.

Key focus will be on the development of our business with key partners for Hainan market – CDFG, Lagardere, CNSC, DFS, ADJV, Wangfujing, Shenzhen Duty Free, Zhuhai Duty Free, etc.

  • Reaching the targets and goals set for your area 
  • To build our core Masstige and Luxury brands to deliver value growth within the channel within North Asia focusing on Hainan market but also critically to act as a shop window for our brands.  Within this to ensure world class implementation of all our initiatives to ensure win at point of purchase
  • JBP planning and tracking with key customers for your area
  • To input developmentally and execution ally on the proposed promotional plan as presented by the Customer Marketing team.
  • Driving in store execution across Hainan network, building relationships with shop staff, carrying out training/tastings etc
  • Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market
  • Assist with the development of sales presentations and proposals
  • To ensure forecast accuracy within specified lead times
  • To ensure full compliance for social responsibility within North Asia Global Travel and all the activities we are responsible for.

About you

  • Bachelor degree (Business or Marketing desirable)
  • Wine certification preferred
  • 5 years Sales / Account management experience
  • Global Travel Retail experience preferred
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills
  • Results oriented
  • Excellent evaluative, analytical, and interpretive skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Mobile
  • Strong adaption to new environment
