Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 Discretionary Bonuses Benefits

Buyer I Description
Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Buyer to add to their team in Hatfield, PA. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for all buying functions of materials. Our client is looking for someone with a strong sense of urgency, who is personable, a team player, and not afraid to ask questions. To be successful in the role, you must bring at least 2 years of buying experience from a manufacturing environment and be proficient in an MRP/ERP system. Buyer I Responsibilities
• Create annual purchase price projections for all commodities
• Negotiate suppliers’ settlements as required
• Ensure timely disposition of non-conforming materials with suppliers
• Facilitate effective integration between sales forecast and materials planning
• Oversee inventory management activities
• Work cross-functionally with sales on the planning and forecast of orders
• Schedule coordination of materials and ensure technical aspects of them
• Attend and contribute to team meetings
• Support the company's continual improvement initiatives
Buyer I Qualifications
• 2 years of purchasing/buyer experience required
• Manufacturing Industry experience required
• Customer-Facing experience required
• MRP or ERP experience required
