Driving Instructor

Overview:

We are seeking a qualified individual to join our team. As a Driving Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching students of all ages the necessary skills and knowledge to become safe and confident drivers. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and have a strong background in driving instruction.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct driving lessons for students of various skill levels, including teenagers and adults

- Teach students the rules of the road, defensive driving techniques, and proper vehicle handling

- Provide clear and concise instructions during driving lessons to ensure student comprehension

- Demonstrate safe driving practices and provide feedback on areas for improvement

-- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback on driving skills

- Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations during driving lessons

Requirements:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Experience working with students or in adult education is preferred

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- Proven ability to drive various types of vehicles safely and confidently

- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, rules, and regulations

- Ability to effectively educate and engage students in a classroom setting

- Patience, empathy, and the ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds

Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
• Driving: 5 years (Required)
