Sand Transloader- La Salle, CO

NOW OFFERING: $1,500 SIGN ON BONUS! Paid in two installments (after six and twelve weeks of employment)

Starting hourly rate of $18.00/hour. Rate will vary based upon job experience.

Job Duties

The Transloader will be charge of the basic duties of loading and unloading different meshes of sand. Making sure that all operators/truck personnel follow the proper guidelines when coming for pick into the facility.

Duties and Responsibilities

• The responsibility of the loader is to safely and efficiently manage the loading and unloading of the railcars and trucks of sand and inspect the amount of product in each railcar
• Inspect the amount of product in each railcar  
• Guide all the operator/ truck drivers when coming into the facility
• Communicate with CB radio and /or company radio
• Data entry into the computer system
• Inspect the calibration on the conveyer belts to check product weight is properly captured
• Inspect basic functions of the conveyer belts and report to proper personnel
• Adhere to all Personal Protective Equipment
• Any other duties as assigned by the Terminal Supervisor

Key Requirements

• Must be able to work outdoors in all environments and take direction to perform individual tasks that contribute to the team’s success
• Must be able to cope with outdoor temperatures (hot and cold temperature)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment including half mask respirator, hard hat, steel toe boots, safety glasses when expected
• You must be open to working weekends and overtime works is very possible
• You must be able to read, write, and comprehend English
• Good oral and written communication skills necessary
• Basic math skills are essential
• Must be safety focused
• Interpersonal skills    
• A valid Driver’s License or reliable transportation is required
