General Manager
Twin Valley Coffee is searching for a General Manager for our retail location coming soon to River Station in Downingtown, PA. The TVC General Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of a retail store, including maximizing efficiency and increasing store profit. You will be responsible for managing store employees and developing a strong leadership team. The Retail Store Manager will uphold the TVC values of Brand Pride, People Focused, Excited and Integrity.
Job Responsibilities:
*Become an expert in all daily tasks of the retail location, including opening/closing procedures, drink preparation and service, cleaning and sanitation standards, and inventory management. *Develop strategies for efficient service especially during busy seasons. *Notice and report any operational or safety issues to your Area Manager to strategize new procedures as needed. *Maintain inventory of marketing materials, apparel, beverage supplies, cold brew kegs, beans, and all other necessities to ensure the store is always prepared for upcoming business. *Complete all payroll processes including documenting tip calculations and approving all associate time sheets for all shift workers. *Schedule shifts based on employee availability and store needs. *Manage drawer counting at the end of each shift or the end of the day as instructed by the Area Manager, and prepare daily deposits. *Hire, train, and develop your team of employees *Build a strong leadership team through hiring, training, and personal development *Regularly review and coach your employees to maintain performance standards and address any issues as they arise. *Communicate personnel changes, issues, acknowledgements, or raises with Human Resources. *Prioritize addressing customer service issues quickly and respectfully.

*Ensure a positive, consistent, and friendly customer experience. *Maintain a positive and exciting work environment where employees feel valued. *Continue to expand your coffee knowledge and awareness of new products to maintain a high standard of service. *Set and maintain the standard of excellence for cleanliness in your store. *Maintain TVC’s required food safety certifications. *Working with your area manager, create, and develop strategies to promote growth in sales. *Follow established rules and procedures to achieve standards of excellence as set and communicated by the Twin Valley Coffee management team. *Maintain a high level of organization, communication, and flexibility. *Respectfully resolve issues with customers and employees. *Be willing to learn new technologies or skills as needed. *Prioritize being present during peak store hours as your personal schedule allows. *Ensure the retail store is running effectively and efficiently at all times.
Physical Requirements
*Handle and move objects under 50lbs. *Manual dexterity in hands and fingers *Able to see objects at close distance. *Able to hear and respond to verbal instructions or questions. *General physical activities, such as standing for long periods of time, stooping, lifting, and walking.
