Twine Freelancers work quickly and efficiently to produce high-quality results. We are seeking a Graphic Designer for a company devoted to training missionaries.
Responsibilities
- Reports to supervisor or manager level in the Training Department
- Assists instructional designers with layout, typography, photo manipulation, and design of instruction materials
- Designs messaging for information and services
- Designs booklets, brochures, and presentation graphics
- Assists in sign-making and other miscellaneous projects
- Meets with developers and designers to discuss the scope and graphic requirements of projects
- May include other temporary assigned duties at the company (e.g. assisting with Mission Leadership Seminar)
- Work 15-20 hours/week
- Required: Portfolio demonstrating strong design and typography skills
- Preferred: Major or pre-major in graphic design, arts, media arts, advertising, or other similar studies
- Working knowledge of and experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, AfterEffects, and Illustrator
- Available to work 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm
- Ability to give and receive feedback
- Ability to navigate Mac OSX functions
