About the job
We are looking for a Web Designer for a multinational telecommunications and internet service provider company. As a Web Designer, you’ll create meaningful and engaging experiences across multiple brands and clients. The Web Designer will be responsible for daily site maintenance as well as producing all pages and assets on sites including web landing pages, product detail pages, and document management.
Essential Duties
- Design and publish website content using a content management system, as well as hand-coded HTML and CSS development as needed.
- Responsible for content changes and daily maintenance of product pages and document library across clients.
- Work closely with clients, UX/UI Designers, copywriters, graphic designers, and others to bring new projects and ideas to life.
- Act as a content author and publisher in Sitecore CMS.
- Promote and ensure design and brand guidelines, best practices, and accessibility standards in all executions.
- Produce rich animation using Ceros or other tools and integrate it into designs as needed.
- Work with UI kit daily, understanding in-depth functionality of all elements, components, and templates.
- Knowledge of current web design trends and techniques including responsive design, user-centered, and interaction design.
- Proven understanding of graphic design fundamentals and UI/UX principles.
- Able to learn about new concepts concerning web design components.
- The ability to manage and keep track of a vast number of files.
- Must be able to work cross-functionally.
- Ability to manage projects efficiently and manage own workload. Adapts to changing priorities, deadlines, and directions.
- The ability to maintain accuracy & deliver projects on time despite pressing deadlines is essential.
- Must be able to write and speak effectively and be able to clearly communicate with peers, leadership team, and clients.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated proficiency with content management systems; experience with Sitecore, or other CMS tool.
- Demonstrated proficiency in HTML/CSS and Javascript.
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, XD) and industry-standard design and prototyping tools, including Sketch and Figma.
