Twist seeks an experienced Staff SAP Systems Analyst to join our IT team. The SAP Systems Analyst will be responsible for optimizing our SAP solutions to improve business processes, enhance system functionality, and drive innovation within our organization.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP modules, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to support our business objectives.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Conduct a thorough analysis of existing SAP systems and processes. Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance system efficiency and business functionality.
- Collaborate with various business units to gather detailed requirements for system enhancements and new functionality. Translate business needs into technical specifications for the SAP system.
- Perform necessary SAP system configurations and customizations to meet business requirements. Ensure that all system modifications align with best practices and organizational policies.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for MM and WM/eWM modules and processes.
- Serve as the technical subject matter expert for Inventory and Warehouse management processes.
- Develop detailed technical specifications and collaborate with infrastructure resources to identify, deploy, and support mobile solutions, warehouse RF functionality, or similar technology, as needed.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure that system modifications meet specified requirements and are defect-free. Coordinate with users to facilitate user acceptance testing.
- Carry out root cause analyses in the event of deviations and develop solutions and tracking.
- Provide training and support to end-users on SAP functionality and enhancements. Develop user guides and documentation to assist users in navigating new or updated system features.
- Manage projects related to SAP system enhancements and upgrades. Ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
- Drive adherence to standards across the organization, which may represent operations on the data governance core team, and lead and implement projects to achieve governance deliverables.
- Work closely with IT colleagues, including developers, database administrators, and other analysts, to ensure system integrity and security.
- Stay informed of the latest SAP technologies and updates. Recommend and implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives for the SAP landscape.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 6-8 years of hands-on experience in requirements gathering & documentation, design, testing, implementation, and support of the MM/WM modules.
- Minimum three (3) full-cycle implementations as SAP system analyst with a focus on Warehouse Management, Supply chain, Material Management, and Purchasing
- Hands-on experience in core SAP WMS areas: warehouse & bin configuration, putaway and picking strategies, cycle count procedure, cycle count adjustments, wave picking, Kanban setup, production interface with WM, interim storage areas, physical inventory, output configuration, storage unit management.
- Experience with SAP Inventory Management (IM) and inventory best practices.
- Solid understanding of Order to Cash, Supply chain, Quality, and Purchasing processes. Good understanding of business processes related to SD and FICO modules.
- Able to articulate solution designs and use ERP configuration creatively versus developing custom enhancements.
- Proven experience in SAP configuration, troubleshooting, and support.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
