Shift Leader Job Description
Shift leader the service staff, interacts with guests, and performs some managerial responsibilities. The shift leader works as a cashier, manages service staff, and communicates with kitchen lead to help run effective shifts.
Candidates need to:
• Be certified as a cashier and perform those responsibilities at a high level.
• Demonstrate good manners.
• Have a positive attitude.
• Must be able to work as a team with other employees.
• Must be able to multi-task so they can manage busy times.
Responsibilities:
• Take guest orders.
• Process payment transactions.
• Package and serve food and alcohol items.
• Keep the work area clean, follow food safety protocols.
• Stock service area and perform secondary duties.
• Provide excellent service and hospitality to guests.
• Deliver accurate third-party delivery orders.
• Learn menu, menu options, and understand allergens.
• Follow cash out process for cashiers.
• Complete inventory of service area.
• Assist with writing schedule for service area staff.
• Train cashiers and service staff.
• Interview, hire, and onboard new cashiers.
Requirements:
• Candidates must be authorized to work in USA.

• Reliable transportation. Must be able to consistently arrive to work on time.
• Customer service experience required. Good customer service is an absolute requirement for this job.
• Must be able to multitask and work quickly and efficiently.
• Flexible hours. Service employees to be able to work some weekday shifts and weekend shifts.
• Respect and help other coworkers.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).
• Be able to safely lift and carry cases weighing up to 25 pounds.
