Collection Advisor

StrataTech Education Group currently operates four schools: Tulsa Welding School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Tulsa Welding School in Jacksonville, Florida, Tulsa Welding School and Technology Center in Houston, Texas and The Refrigeration School in Phoenix, Arizona.

We are currently seeking a Student Account Collection Advisor.

In this position you will be responsible for the oversight and collection of accounts receivable for all campuses.

Job Type: Full Time

Responsibilities:

Locate account holders and establish contact via phone calls, emails, letters, etc. in order to set up and monitor payment plans.

Maintain and update student financial records and contact information in Campus Vue

Work with Director to establish collection goals and manage the collection process for all accounts

Strong emphasis on maintaining written procedures and complying with all Federal and State regulations and internal controls.

This position requires extensive customer interaction, handling of customer payments, and working on the phone.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum of High School Diploma or GED

Be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

1 year call center experience

Computer proficiency using Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

1 year of Customer Service experience

Desired Qualifications:

1 year of Collections Experience on delinquent accounts

Experience with Excel

Student Loans Collections Experience

Experience working in Higher Education
