Assistant Project Manager

Thank you for your interest in TWS Construction. We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Assistant Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in planning, executing, and completing various projects within our organization. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will work closely with the project manager and cross-functional team members to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope and budget.

• Support the project manager in all aspects of project planning, execution, and closure.
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints and technical documents.
• Coordinate project activities and resources to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Track project progress and report to the project manager.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among the project team, owners, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Assist in preparing project documentation, including project charters, schedules, and status reports.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to decision-making processes.
• Coordinate, schedule, and oversee deliveries of all materials, supplies, and tools, including subcontractors.
• Be a team leader, lead by example, be respectful but firm, and hold yourself and others accountable.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while on the job sites or acting on the company's behalf. Owners, Architects, Inspectors, Vendors, and Subcontractors see you as a representative of TWS Construction.

You have:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• You must have experience working on a desktop or laptop, including experience with Google Docs, Sheets, and/or Microsoft Word, Excel, or something similar.
• Experience with Buildertrend software or similar is a big plus!
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• A minimum of 2 years experience as a project coordinator, assistant project manager, or similar role is required, as is experience in the construction industry.
• You must have a good driving record, a valid driver's license, and be insurable as a driver on our company auto insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
