Position: Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDDSC) Case Manager III [0406-3] E
Program: Amarillo, Texas – Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Service Coordination
Salary: $44,324.80 Annually
Shift Available: Full Time
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Staff will maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful Trauma Informed Care language
- Responsible for provision of service coordination including coordinating, linking, and monitoring of resources and services needed and desired to persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
- Provides ongoing assessment, treatment planning and service coordination activities
- Hires, trains, and supervises assigned staff
- Participates in development and implementation of departmental guidelines and procedures
- This position may be assigned to serve in the Texas Home Living, General Revenue, and HCS Programs
Required qualifications to be successful in the job:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with a degree in social, behavioral, or related human services field including but not limited to, psychology, social work, medicine, nursing, rehabilitation, counseling, sociology, human development, gerontology, educational psychology, education, and criminal justice
- Two (2) years Case Management experience required for Case Manager III
- Good writing and verbal skills
- Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable under agency vehicle policy
- Must be 18 years or age or older
Preferred qualifications to be successful in the job:
- Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and nursing facilities
- The ability to organize documents for assigned caseload and meet time deadlines.
