Tyler Pipe & Coupling is looking for a Facility Maintenance (janitorial) Technician to join our team! This will be a 1st shift position, Monday-Friday 5:00am-1:30pm. Overview-
Assists in maintaining a clean and healthy working environment for the business or facility. Ensures the interior, exterior, or both areas of the building are sanitary and free of trash and debris.
Responsibilities-
- Maintains outdoor grounds (mowing and weed eating)
- Removes debris and snow from sidewalks.
- Cleans the interior of the building including floors, carpet, rugs, windows and walls.
- Disinfects commonly used items like door handles, phones, and breakroom furniture.
- Empties trash cans and recycling bins.
- Stocks and maintains the supply room.
- Vacuum sweep and mop floors.
- Clean and maintain restrooms.
- Wash and clean windows and mirrors.
- Operate floor scrubbers and other equipment.
- Dust furniture and fixtures.
- Performs other miscellaneous duties as required.
Education-
Requires job trade knowledge in the field of air conditioning, heating, electricity, plumbing and general machine maintenance. Equivalent to four years of high school plus short term trades training.
Experience-
One to three years experience.
