What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Auditor - 1st Shift position at Tyndale USA?
Are you a quick learner and have a strong attention to detail? If so, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Auditor of garments in our Distribution Center in Bucks County, PA on our 1st shift (6:45am-3:15pm, Monday-Friday). Interested applicants must be exceptionally detail-oriented. This is an ideal position for an individual looking to work in a fast-paced, team-environment assisting the Warehouse Manager and Manufacturing department in assuring the reliability of inventory figures and auditing quality of incoming garments
Responsibilities:
- Audit Tyndale Manufactured garments for conformance to quality standards including (but not limited to) workmanship and sizing;
- Accurately record measurements;
- Review and inspect “seconds” received from our manufacturing facilities. Convert any, if possible, to first quality and inform manufacturing department on type of seconds – manufacturing, material flaws, etc.;
- Perform continuous cycle counts of all storage locations to validate inventory figures;
- Ability and interest to be cross trained in several departments (warehouse, shipping) if needed;
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned;
Qualifications:
- High School diploma required
- Minimum of 3 months experience working with garments (preferred).
- Familiarity of MAS 500 and a warehouse management system (WMS) is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and prior experience as a quality auditor is a plus.
- Ability to read and record accurate measurements to 1/8".
- Must be able to spend long periods of time standing and also lifting cartons of garments up to 40 lbs.
