Job Title: Bagger Opr PR04 Job Posting: 1st Shift Full Time Ringgold, VA Job Description: This position is responsible for ensuring all related equipment in the assigned area is operating to production standards while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The operator will be responsible for the following equipment in a RTE (ready to eat) environment: combination weigher, form/fill/ bagging operation, Xray and metal detector and bag checkweigher Responsibilities: Set up equipment after pre-op. Put film roll on machine, thread the film, check bag seals. Verify scales are operational, check sensors on shakers. Test X-ray, metal detector and checkweigher prior to startup. Quickly troubleshoot and make adjustments for improper bag weights, open seals, etc. Conduct hourly bag piece count checks, and enter data into computer. Assist the RTE Lead monitor process flow, communicate on radio, and divert product as necessary to prevent pileups. Assemble and dissemble equipment, Learn Operator Care, including basic essential preventive maintenance of assigned equipment Requirements: Willing and able to stand, sit, bend, walk, stretch, climb, push, pull, kneel, squat, reach, and climb stairs frequently. Must have basic computer skills to read and navigate through equipment controls, enter data in quality database. Able to read, write and communicate verbally to maintain production logs, read equipment controls, and interact with maintenance techs and management Willing and able to lift, carry, push, and pull 20-70 pounds. Willing and able to work in cold environment, with potentially slippery walking surfaces. Able to work overtime and weekends.
