Job Details: PARTS ROOM ATTENDANT– Shift Sunday-Wednesday or Thursday-Sunday (every Sunday is required) 12 hour shift – 8pm-8am Functions To maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture Receive training as required Perform various positions as required/assigned Description This position is responsible for maintaining correct warehouse inventories. Providing customers, vendors exceptional service. Maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Tasks Maintain Receiving and Parts Room in orderly manner. Check received goods to ensure correct identification and quantities, if necessary, return materials to vendor. Conduct inventory counts and report discrepancies to Management. Issue and control tools for complete accountability of tooling assets. Receive in all U.P.S. and FedEx shipments. Ensure that Projects related items/materials are available when needed. Maintain storage & office areas clean and organized. Process necessary paperwork to obtain inventory parts and supplies. Data entry parts and vendor supplies into Main Star Maintenance System. Mark items for distribution, tag and put in inventory. Must be able to learn and utilize MAIN STAR Maintenance System, Work Request, Work Orders Parts and other transactions. Assist maintenance team with locating parts, work with Purchasing Dept. regarding invoice and pricing issues. Monitor H2S gas system. Special skills required: Must have good computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Work, Excel & Power Point. Basic Math Skills, ability to work with minimal supervision – must be self- motivated. Good communications skills to interact with customers, vendors, salespeople, contractors, management team, and team members. Ability to lift, push, pull or carry up to 50 lbs. frequently. Ability to work up and down stairs /ladder in warehouse. Ability to stand on hard surface for up to 12 hours per day. Ability to work in tight spaces, walk, climb, bend, and stoop. Occasional gripping, pulling, pushing. Must be able to drive a Forklift and maintain certification. Requirements Applicants who have worked for Tyson three times will not be considered. You must have 6 months of work history with one employer within the past 12 months. Applications are only active for the current month in which you applied.
