Debone Training (max of 8 weeks): $16.95/hr

Debone Back-half Certified: $17.95/hr

Debone Front-half Certified: $18.95/hr
Shift Pay: $2.00/hr added to pay rates above
This position will complete 8 weeks of a manual debone training program. Once the selected applicant has demonstrated and is certified in manual debone, the following pay increases will go into effect: Those who are certified in back-half will receive a pay increase to $17.95/hr . Those who are certified in front-half of the process will receive a pay increase to $18.95/hr.

SUMMARY:
This is an entry-level position for training on a manual debone line.
- Must be able to use cutting tools such as knives and scissors for the removal of meat from the frame of the bird.
- Will be rotated through the positions on the manual debone line and will be assessed on proficiency in the front half and back half of the deboning process.
- Team members will be reclassified into one of these areas upon obtaining certification and confirmation of ability to meet standards and successfully complete training.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Be able to push, pull, carry, and/or lift up to 50 pounds for some positions. Must be willing to work in damp, cold or hot environments, reach above shoulder level.
- Be able to stand 8- 10 hours a day on hard surfaces.
- Able to perform repetitive motion.
- Must be able to climb up and down stairs to get to and from the work areas.
- Must wear PPE, frocks, gloves, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net and beard guard.

- 365 day (1 year) waiting period
- Max of two previous Tyson employments to be consider for hire.
