Job Details

This position will operate or tend equipment, such as cooling and freezing units, refrigerators, batch freezers, and freezing tunnels, to cool or freeze products, food, and chemicals while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Positions may be responsible for running machinery, packing, sanitizing, receiving, or shipping of products, making boxes and good housekeeping practices.

This position will be exposed on a routine basis to cold temperatures ranging from -20 to 40 F up to 10 hours per day, slippery floors in some areas, and concrete floors.

This position also may be exposed to a noise level loud enough to require hearing protection.

Requirements

• Must be willing to repeatedly push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to properly complete the paperwork associated with the position(s) assigned.
• Must be available to work overtime and weekends when required.
• Must be willing to accommodate shift start time changes.
• Must be willing to work in an environment with the sight and smell of meat products or any other product present when processing meat such as blood, fat, bone, skin, and spices.
• Must be willing to obtain license to operate TAG and / or forklift.
• Candidate must be willing to submit to a drug screen and post offer health assessment

Must have at least 3 months of full time work experience with a single employer. Candidates that have worked for the company 3 times will not be considered.

Rehires will be considered after a term waiting period of 90 days
