Job Details: SUMMARY: This role leads and advances Tyson's Category Advisor relationship with merchants at Walmart. The position advises the customer by providing decision support business analytics and specific recommendations that drive sales and profitability growth across the entire category. Key focus is on developing insights around category and shopper needs distribution share assortment merchandising shelving and promotional opportunities. The incumbent will have an ability to leverage scan and shopper data IRI Nielsen and Walmart's Retail Link along with custom Tyson Foods Category Leadership resources to develop category solutions and drive business performance. The ideal candidate will be a solution provider with strong merchandising capabilities and knowledge of Walmart s Modular Development process. An ability to manage and lead cross-functional Team Members is essential. DEMONSTRATED SKILLS: Leadership and Accountability Out of the box thinking Customer facing experience Sense of urgency and prioritization Strong ability to manage work with and interpret complex data sets inputs REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's degree in related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. combination of education and experience. Experience: 5 plus years of experience in retail analytics category management or space planning Knowledge of and experience with syndicated data IRI Nielsen Spectra . Computer Skills: Strong Access Excel PowerPoint and Word required. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Solid influence and presentation skills required. Travel: up to 2 trips per year.
