Senior DevOps Instructor

Tyto Athene is searching for a Senior DevOps Instructor to provide instructional DevOps support to a US Air Force client in San Antonio, TX.

Responsibilities:

• Apply technical subject matter expertise in the development, maintenance, and delivery of tailored DevOps training to DoD personnel, focused on Cyberspace Operations tool analysis and development.
• Coordinate the development and delivery of complex training programs and related materials in support of client training objectives
• Establish and review course content and objectives
• Conduct training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities
• Maintain records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness
• Update course documentation and resources on a regular basis to ensure relevance and effectiveness
• Assigns, reviews, and approves Tier-2 and below Instructors’ training, certification, and qualification plans for completeness, accuracy, and effectiveness.
• Candidate must, at the convenience and benefit of the client, pass the course they teach.
• Be willing to be certified IAW Basic Instructor Qualification, Full Instructor Qualification, and Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) Instructor Qualification standards and capable of conducting conventional classroom podium instruction.

Qualifications:

• Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility. Must have held an active TS/SCI position within the past 24 months. (Must be willing to take a counter-espionage polygraph as required)
• 7 or more years of direct experience in DevOps preferably as an instructor
• Certification as an Agile Software Developer
• Experience in both Windows and *NIX operating systems
• Expertise in one or more of the following: C, C , C Sharp, x86 Assembly, or Python
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline. (Equivalent experience or Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) may substitute)

Desired Qualifications include:

• US Military Instructor Certification
• DevSecOps experience
• Current experience in Defensive Cyber Operations tool development
• CEH, GPEN, or OSCP certification
