What are the responsibilities and job description for the VTC Installer position at Tyto Athene?
Tyto Athene is searching for a VTC Installer to support a law enforcement customer in the Springfield, VA area.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate experience in following schematics for installation of VTC
- Understand and interpret installation drawings and design packages, and applying that knowledge to the cabling installation, and promoting a safe work environment and implementing safe work practices.
- Be proficient in the proper handling, installation, of LC, MTRJ and SC connector termination, and testing of fiber-optic and copper cabling systems
- Be proficient in the installation of various types of cable tray, PDS, and Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT) conduit up to four (4) inches.
- Be capable of properly documenting any red-line changes to drawing
- Possess effective communication skills for coordinating installation work with FBI office personnel and FBI customers.
- Demonstrate 3 years of experience with Crestron systems and or a Crestron certification
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of five (2) years of experience in the installation of VTC
- A TS security clearance is required at time of proposal with the ability to obtain an SCI
